Monique Dache’ is an award winning singer-songwriter who records and performs in diverse genres for jazz, classic rock, insurgent pop, R&B, folk, worship, and light opera. She is a versatile singer with a warm and rich soprano voice that conveys a range of emotions, influenced by a wide range of singers from Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion, Linda Ronstadt, Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Stevie Nicks, Faith Hill, and Sarah Brightman to name a few.
Monique Dache’ is a Boston Berklee Alumna 00’ who studied under B.B King, Steve Smith of Journey, and Carly Simon. Monique was born and raised in Orcutt, California, performing across Central Coast, California at PCPA, Santa Barbara Light Opera, and Santa Maria Civic Theater in her youth were cornerstones to her music journey. For the last 20 years, she calls Austin, Texas home and can be seen performing LIVE with her band across Central Texas.
Monique Dache’ recorded her jazz inspired album, Life Is Magnificent, with platinum award winning recording engineer, Steve Crimmel at Painted Sky Studios, Cambria, California. Notable credits behind his name having worked with Lionel Richie, Kenny Loggins, Bonnie Raitt, Neil Diamond, Ella Fitzgerald, and more A-List celebrities at L.A.s Hollywood highly regarded Ocean Way Recording.
Her contemporary single, Lost Love was recorded by notable recording engineer, Kelly Donnelly who produced Grammy Award Winning guitar legend, Eric Johnson. The EP Lost Love was recorded at Music Hill Ranch Recording Studio, a property that is a privately gated seven acre estate, named for the Recording studio built on site by a legendary Austinite member of “The Chicks.”
Her concerts were supported in part by Austin's Economic Development and Cultural Arts Division through a notable local sponsor, Austin Creative Alliance. In her philanthropic efforts she founded the Texas nonprofit Artistic Education Company in support of advancing the arts with youth across AISD schools in Austin, Texas. She is a recognized musical artist with the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Arts Center as one of their selected LAAP Artists under her stage name, Monique Dache’.
